While Apple has been tight lipped regarding the next iteration of the iPhone 5, leaks have been inevitable from outside sources. Earlier today, Case-Mate published a web page selling various style of cases for the iPhone 5. From what we can see, the rumors of the next iPhone being thinner and sporting a larger screen seems to be justified.

The rear of the iPhone 5 resembles that of the iPad’s, with the slim yet curved edges encased in a metallic body. It is likely that Apple has provided Case-Mate with the specs and even images of their upcoming iPhone 5 prior to its release in order to create and manufacture the cases in anticipation of its release. That being said, this is probably the most concrete rumor we have received in the past few months.
Update: Despite Case-Mate promptly taking down the page, the damage has already been done. Case-Mate has officially responded to the accidental posting of the page by issuing a rather interesting statement. “The wait is almost over as the next generation iPhone 5 / iPhone 4S will be released in the coming weeks.”
